Answer :
x1 = 3
y1 = -4
x2 = -2
y2 = 6
-5(y + 4) = 10 (x - 3)
-5y - 20 = 10x - 30
(-5y - 20)/5 = (10x - 30)/5
-y - 4 = 2x - 6
-y - 4 + 4 = 2x - 6 + 4
-y = 2x - 2 or y = -2x + 2
So the equation of the line through the points (3, -4) and (-2, 6) is -y = 2x - 2 or y = -2x + 2.
