In a box there is a ball that is numbered 1 to 10. If taken a ball, what is the probability of emergence is not prime number ??Resolution:
S = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10}
n(S) = 10
For example the emergence of prime number is A, so:
A = {2, 3, 5, 7}
n(A) = 4

P(Ac) = 1 - P(A)
P(Ac) = 1 - 0.4
P(Ac) = 0.6So the probability of the emergence of the ball is not the prime number is 0.6.
